  • The founder and chief instructor of the Kiyokan Aikido school, he studied and received his certification in Japan

    Has been practicing Aikido for 30 years. Since 1997, has regularly trained in Japan.

    Has trained over 100 black belts in Aikido from 1st to 4th Dan
  • Certified as a 6th Dan in Japan at Aikido Renshinkai Honbu Dojo, personally by the head of the organization, Tsutomu Chida Soke
  • In 1998, Andrii Berezhnyi Sensei organized the first Yoshinkan Aikido seminar in Ukraine with master Jacques Muguruza Shihan

    Since 1998, has organized annual international seminars with Aikido masters: Kyoichi Inoue Kancho, Tsutomu Chida Soke, Tsuneo Ando Shihan, Yukio Utada Sensei, Joe Tambu Shinan, Jacques Muguruza Shihan, Kenji Ito Sensei, David Rubens Sensei, Saburo Takashima Sensei, Kenji Nakazawa Sensei

    Since 2001, has held seminars in Brno (Czech Republic), New York (USA), and Będzin (Poland)

    In 2018, participated in the Senshusei Course (intensive instructor course) at Aikido Renshinkai Honbu Dojo, Tokyo, Japan

    In 2019, underwent an internship at Aikido Shudokan in Melbourne, Australia, under the main instructor Joe Tambu Shihan

    In 2023, left the Aikido Renshinkai organization

    In January 2025, Sensei Andrii Berezhnyi received the 7th Dan and the title of Shihan from Tsuneo Ando Shihan, 9th Dan
