7th Dan Aikido Founder of the Aikido Kiyokan School
Has been practicing Aikido for 30 years. Since 1997, has regularly trained in Japan. Has trained over 100 black belts in Aikido from 1st to 4th Dan. Certified as a 6th Dan in Japan at Aikido Renshinkai Honbu Dojo, personally by the head of the organization, Tsutomu Chida Soke. Since 1998, has organized annual international seminars with Aikido masters: Kyoichi Inoue Kancho, Tsutomu Chida Soke, Tsuneo Ando Shihan, Yukio Utada Sensei, Joe Tambu Shinan, Kenji Ito Sensei, David Rubens Sensei, Saburo Takashima Sensei, Kenji Nakazawa Sensei. Since 2001, has held seminars in Brno (Czech Republic), New York (USA), and Będzin (Poland). In 2018-2019, participated in the Senshusei Course (intensive instructor course) at Aikido Renshinkai Honbu Dojo, Tokyo, Japan. In 2018-2019, underwent an internship at Aikido Shudokan in Melbourne, Australia, under the main instructor Joe Tambu Shihan. In 2023, left the Aikido Renshinkai organization. In January 2025, Sensei Andrii Berezhnyi received the 7th Dan and the title of Shihan from Tsuneo Ando Shihan, 9th Dan.
